McKenna Marie Jones is a graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s Harrison County Homeschool Academy, where she earned both her high school diploma and college credits. She was invited to membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and will be finishing her Associate’s degree at the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on a full tuition scholarship as a member of the Perkettes Dance Team. McKenna has been dancing since the age of 3, beginning her competitive journey at just 5 years old. She has been a dedicated member of Infinity Dance Company since its very first
chapter. Over her 15 years of dance, McKenna has attended many conventions, receiving training from renowned instructors such as Seth Robinson, Liz Imperio, Kent Boyd, and many others.
Since the age of 10, McKenna has had the joy of assisting and teaching alongside instructors at Infinity Dance Company. She finds it especially rewarding to watch students grow in confidence and develop both as dancers and as individuals throughout their years at IDC. McKenna plans to pursue a career as a pediatric occupational therapist. The leadership and teaching experience she has gained through her years at Infinity Dance Company have given her a strong foundation for her future career. She looks forward to combining her love for children, teaching, and mentorship in her future.
