💳 Tuition & Financial Policies

1. Tuition
Tuition is based on a full August–June season and is divided into equal monthly installments. Your monthly invoice remains the same unless your dancer’s class schedule changes.

  • Tuition is billed monthly from the time of enrollment through June.

  • There are no prorated tuition rates for missed classes or holidays.

  • No withdrawals allowed after April 1 of the current season.

2. Payment Due Dates
All tuition and fees are due by the 5th of each calendar month. Accepted payment methods: cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard. Payments can be made via your Parent Portal or in person.

  • Returned check fee: $36

  • Accounts unpaid by the 10th incur a $25 late fee

  • Beginning the 11th, the card on file will be charged for tuition, late fees, and other applicable balances.

3. Auto Pay Policy
All families must enroll in Auto Pay. If you prefer to pay by cash/check, payment must be received by close of business on the 4th. If not, your card will be charged on the 5th.

4. Overdue Accounts
Any account with a balance overdue by more than 45 days will result in the student being removed from class until the balance is paid in full.

5. Withdrawals
IDC requires 30 days’ written notice (via email or office form) to withdraw from class. Tuition will continue to accrue during that period. Account balances must be paid in full upon withdrawal.

6. Refunds
There are no refunds or credits for tuition, recital fees, costumes, absences, or studio closures due to inclement weather or government mandates.


📸 Media & Photography Policy

By enrolling, you grant permission for IDC to use photos and videos of your dancer for promotional purposes (brochures, social media, website, etc.). Dancer names and identifying information will not be published.

If you do not consent, you must notify the office in person prior to the first day of class.

To protect all dancers, parents may not take photos or videos during class, rehearsals, or performances unless otherwise authorized by IDC.


📏 Behavior, Etiquette & Dismissal Policy

IDC maintains a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all dancers and families. Any behavior deemed disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful by the student or their guardian may result in dismissal from the studio without refund.

Class Participation & Expectations

  • Students are expected to attend classes regularly and be on time.

  • Dancers must adhere to the studio’s dress code, including appropriate shoes and hair neatly styled.

  • Missed classes due to illness or scheduling conflicts are not refunded or credited.

Recital & Costume Fees

👗 Recital & Costume Fees

  • Costumes are required for each recital routine. Prices range from $85–$100 per costume.

  • Recital fees and Costume fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • You may choose one of two payment options:

    1. Equal installments added to your monthly tuition through March

    2. Pay in full at time of enrollment

Costumes are ordered in December. All recital and costume fees must be paid in full before costumes will be sent home.

IDC Studio Policy

  • There must be a minimum of 6 students in class in order for it to remain on our schedule. If this is not met, we will assign students into an available class.
  • Parents must not leave children, or their siblings and friends, unattended before and after class. Our staff is not responsible for your child once they are dismissed from class or before classes begin.
  • Please watch your personal items at all times as we are not responsible for valuables left unattended in the lobby or studio.
  • Dress code must be met at all times or the students will not be allowed to participate in class. Cover-ups must be worn to and from class.
  • No food or drink, other than water, is allowed inside the classrooms. Water can be brought in only if in sports bottle or plastic water bottles with a closing lid. No open containers
  • If a student needs to leave class early for any reason, a note must accompany the child to class or at the minimum the instructor must be informed.
  • NO CANDY OR GUM ALLOWED IN CLASS.
  • Good attendance is necessary for students to progress in their art. Please keep absences to a minimum. However, if your child has a contagious illness please keep them home!
  • If you feel you need to discuss certain issues with the teachers, you may do so by reserving a conference time. Our front desk staff can assist you in scheduling a time. Our teachers like to keep communication open with our parents but are not allowed to have conference time interfere with class time.
